This ELISA test is a qualitative serological
assay for the detection of Papaya ringspot virus (PRSV) in fruit, ornamental,
and vegetalbe tissues. PRSV is a member of the Potyvirus genus known for their
non-enveloped, flexuous, filamentous virus particles.
