* 당 이용능 확인 시, 포도당, 유당, 자당 등 탄수화물 10% 용액을 첨가하여 배양하면 해당 당의 분해 여부를 확인할 수 있습니다.

* 산소에 의한 산화를 방지하기 위해 배지 분주 후 파라핀오일을 맨 위에 1cm정도 분주하여 산소와의 접촉을 차단합니다.

PROCEDURE

Suspend 10.78 G of powder in 900 mL of distilled or deionized water. Heat until completely dissolved. Sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool at 45-50°C and add 100 mL of a 10% solution of D-glucose, lactose, sucrose, or other carbohydrate, sterilized by filtration, in aseptic conditions. Shake well. Dispense in sterile tubes until a height of 5 cm. Is reached. Immediately after the cooling cover half of the tubes with a 1cm layer of paraffin oil.

STORE

The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2 - 8°C.
