* 배지 내 소량의 Agar는 따로 혐기 조건을 맞춰주지 않더라도 미생물이 가라앉은 Agar 내부에서 적은 산소조건에서 검출될 수 있도록 하는 목적으로 첨가된 성분입니다.

* 배지 내 소량의 Resazurin 성분은 산소에 의해 빨갛게 변하는 성분이며, 배지가 빨갛게 변했을 경우 100도 정도 열을 가하여 산소를 배출해준 뒤 사용하시는 것을 추천드립니다.

Medium used for the cultivation and enumeration of aerobic and anaerobic organisms and for the sterility testing of biologics.

* 500ml x 10 제품의 경우, 500ml 배지를 제조할 수 있는 파우더 양만큼 소분 되어있는 제품입니다.

PROCEDURE

Suspend 29.5 G of powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved. Pour into tubes. Sterilize by autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45 - 50°C in water bath. Store fluid thioglycollate media at 15 - 30°C. If more than 30% of the medium is pink prior to use, reheat once (100°C) to drive off absorbed oxygen.

STORE

The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2 - 8°C.
