INTERPRETATION

Polypeptone is a good nutrient obtained by the enzymatic hydrolysis of animal tissue and enzymatic digest of casein. It is utilized for the growth and isolation of fastidious microorganisms that a single source of casein or meat peptones has been unsatisfactory.
