* Glucose가 혐기성 분해 시, 대사의 중간 생성물로 인해 해당 배지에 MR test 시약을 떨어트리면 MR test 양성/음성 반응을 확인할 수 있습니다.

* Glucose 대사과정 중, 대사산물에 acetoin이 포함되는 경우 VP 시약과 반응하며, VP test 양성/음성 반응을 확인할 수 있습니다.

Medium used for the identification and determination of bacteria by means of the methyl red and Voges-Proskauer.

* 500ml x 10 제품의 경우, 500ml 배지를 제조할 수 있는 파우더 양만큼 소분 되어있는 제품입니다.

PROCEDURE

Suspend 17.0 G of powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved. Sterilize by autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 45 - 50°C in water bath. Pour into tubes.

STORE

The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2 - 8°C.
