This ELISA test is a qualitative serological assay for the detection of Alternanthera mosaic virus & Papaya mosaic virus (AltMV & PapMV) in fruit and ornamental leaves. Agdia's AltMV & PapMV ELISA was developed using PapMV antibodies that demonstrate high immunological affinity for AltMV, a closely related virus to PapMV. Both AltMV & PapMV are members of the Potexvirus genus known for their non-enveloped, flexuous, filamentous-shaped virus particles.
