* 식품공전에 따라 실험하는 경우, XLD 배지는 필수로 선택하며, 그 외 나머지 기재된 배지들 중 하나를 추가로 선택할 때 많이 사용하는 배지입니다.

* 121도에 15분 멸균하는 배지이지만, 과하게 멸균할 경우 침전물이 생기거나 회수율이 적어질 수 있으니 이 점에 유의하여 배지를 제작해야 합니다.

PROCEDURE

Suspend 59.09 G of powder in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Heat to boiling until completely dissolved. Sterilize by autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. DO NOT OVERHEAT. Cool to 45-50°C in water bath. Mix well. Pour into petri dishes.

STORE

The powder is very hygroscopic. Store the powder at room temperature, in a dry environment, in its original container tightly closed and use it before the expiry date on the label or until signs of deterioration or contamination are evident. Store prepared medium at 2-8°C.
